Empirical Formulas from Mass Percentage

This program provides drill in determining the empirical formula of a compound given its composition in mass percentage.  Unfortunately subscripts will not display correctly on your input, so enter your answer in the following manner. If your answer was H₂O you would enter your answer as H2O. Yuk!!  Computer programming languages were not designed with chemistry in mind.   The program will show the correct solution for incorrect answers.
